Auto Expo

India is on every major global automobile player's roadmap, and it isn't hard to see why India is the second largest two-wheeler market in the world.

Auto expo was started in New Delhi and occurs every two years to showcase India’s strength in auto industry. The first Auto Expo was held in 1986, the second in 1993, and the third in 1996.
India is the fourth largest commercial vehicle market in the world, 11th largest passenger car market in the world and is expected to be the seventh largest by 2016 .Besides all this, India has got the extreme ability of robust production.

The Auto Expo is the complete automotive show in this part of the world, organized jointly by Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). The Indian auto industry; a major contributor to India’s GDP has now set benchmarks for the global automotive industry by launching the world's most economical car.

The global economic slow down and stagnation of auto sector, in markets such as Europe, US and Japan, etc., has resulted in shifting of new capacities and flow of capital to the Indian automobile industry making India as a global central hub for the automotive sector. The previous edition of Auto Expo, held in 2008 in New Delhi, witnessed the largest ever participation from Automotive Sector making Auto Expo 2008 - Asia’s largest and Complete Automotive Show.
