Designed to cater to the Indian joint family needs, Maruti Suzuki launched its multi-purpose vehicle Versa in 2001 with an excellent power train and ample space to carry a family of eight. Launched after Maruti Omni's success, the Versa has three variants: Standard 5-seater, DX1 8-seater, and DX2 8-seater. All the three variants are powered by the same 1.3L petrol engine, which is mounted below the driver's seat. While the Maruti Suzuki Versa puts its contemporary MPV styling lines on display, it is not a head-turner but very practical.
