Audi

Audi was established in 1910, with its headquarters in Ingolstadt, Germany. It's a German luxury car manufacturer .Today; Audi has production locations in a number of countries, including Hungary, Brazil, Belgium and China.
With the aim to cater to the super-rich consumers, Audi entered the Indian automobile business and began its operations as a subsidiary of Mumbai-based Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd. Audi cars are imported as Completely Built Units (CBU) and then assembled in India, at the Aurangabad facility of Skoda Auto. The cars launched by Audi in India are regarded as a symbol of class, elegance and luxury. The vehicles included in the product line of Audi AG India include Audi A4 (sedan), A6 (sedan), A8 (sedan), TT (coupe), R8 (super car/coupe) and Q7 (SUV).

Audi India


Audi India is a part of the Audi Group. After having created a strong base in China, Audi's next Asian dream is to have a string base in India too. Audi has analyzed the Indian market and wants to have a firm grip on the Indian market as well. They have also announced that they would be selling Audi TT and Audi A8 in India as well. Right now Audi has three dealers in India and they are located in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.



They have also decided to start to manufacturing Audi's in India in collaboration with their sister concern Skoda. Skoda already has manufacturing units in India. That way they can cut down on costs. So at this moment Audi AG board is not thinking of opening manufacturing units in India. The Audi board feels that the Indian automobile market is at a very nascent stage now, which will provide them with enormous business opportunities. Although high prices of the Audi car hesitates people from buying it. The availability of used cars of Audi is within buyers purchasing limits.
